The resorts, casinos, and hotels owned by Richard Fields include Coastal Development LLC and Coastal Marina LLC properties. Through Coastal Development and Coastal Marina, Richard Fields owns the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel Casino in Florida with locations in Tampa and Hollywood. Richard Fields also own Trump Marina Hotel, which Coastal Marina purchased from Donald Trump and Trump Entertainment Resorts for $316 million in 2008.
Seminole Hard Rock Hotel Casino
In 2004, Richard Fields co-developed the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Florida. The project includes locations in Tampa and Hollywood, Florida.
Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino features more than 2,500 Vegas-style slots and games, including Multi-Area Progressive Jackpots and Mega Jackpots. The property boasts 145,000 square feet on the casino floor, including a 12,000 square foot private room for no limit Texas Hold ‘em, limit Texas Hold 'em, Seven Card Stud and two dollar and four dollar limit Omaha Hi Lo games. The high-limit gaming room includes access to a VIP Plum Lounge and celebrity show kitchen for Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Players Club members.
The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is a Four-Diamond, AAA rated hotel with 500 rooms, 16 restaurants and lounges, and 40,000 square feet of meeting space. The hotel provides a full service spa, car wash and auto detail salon, 23 retail shops, and 11 nightclubs. Hard Rock Live--a state-of-the art and acoustically-sound arena located on the--is host to national and international musical acts, comedic performances, and more.
Trump Marina Hotel
Richard Fields struck a deal with Donald Trump to purchase the Trump Marina Hotel in Atlantic City in 2008. Coastal Marina agreed to pay Trump Entertainment Resorts $316 million to complete the transaction. Richard Fields has decided to rebrand the property as part of the MargaritavilleTM franchise.
"Together with Jimmy Buffett's team at Margaritaville™, our plans are to create an exciting new property that we believe will tap its full potential and make it one of the most successful destination gaming resorts in Atlantic City," Richard Fields commented. "In the weeks and months ahead, there will be additional announcements and more details about the transition of ownership and our new resort concept."
In an interview after the sale was announced, Donald J. Trump, chairman of Trump Entertainment Resorts, remarked: "They are buying a wonderful building in a great location. It has been an important part of our company with a loyal customer base and a dedicated team."
The Trump Marina Hotel Casino is located in Atlantic City. The hotel is a 27-story hotel boasting 728 guestrooms, including 153 suites. Spanning approximately 14 acres in total, the Trump Marina Hotel offers 79,000 square feet of gambling space. The hotel’s nightlife features include a cabaret-style theatre, nightclub, three player clubs, four retail outlets, six restaurants, and a cocktail lounge. The hotel resort also offers a recreation deck with a health spa, outdoor pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, and jogging track.
