Richard Fields Philanthropy
The Fields Family Foundation was founded by Richard Fields in 2005. The Fields Family Foundation is a philanthropic institution that contributes to charities and non profit organizations benefiting children, law enforcement, farmers, and medical research for muscular dystrophy.
Through the Fields Family Foundation, Richard Fields has been a contributor to The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), Good Shepherd Services, The American Quarter Horse Foundation, The New York Police Foundation, Farm Aid, and The University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC).
The Fields Family Foundation has contributed to these organizations in a number of different ways. Through the Fields Family Foundation, Richard Fields serves as secretary on the NCMEC Board of Directors. Through Good Shepherd Services, The Fields Family Foundation sponsors annual trips to Manhattan’s Radio City Christmas Show for 200 underprivileged children of New York. Richard Fields donated $7.1 million to the University of Rochester Medical Center for research on muscular dystrophy. Richard Fields is also a member of the Board for Farm Aid and personally established a college tuition reimbursement program for new police officers through the New York Police Foundation.
