Richard Fields
Richard Fields is the Chairman of Coastal Development, LLC, which finances and develops resort properties, entertainment venues, and casino gaming facilities. Richard Fields co-developed the Seminole Hard Rock Casino and Hotel with locations in Tampa and Hollywood, Florida. The casino resorts, which opened in early 2004, are among the most successful in North America.
Richard Fields is also active in thoroughbred horse racing and American quarter horse competitions. Richard Fields is the largest shareholder of Suffolk Downs, a thoroughbred race track in Massachusetts as well as the cutting and roping, ranch Jackson Land & Cattle in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Richard Fields Philanthropy
In addition to business ventures in casino and resort development and thoroughbred racing, Richard Fields is also an active philanthropist. Through the Fields Family Foundation, Richard Fields participates in charitable giving to organizations benefiting children, medical research, farmers, police enforcement, and scholarship programs through the American Quarter Horse Foundation.
The philanthropic institutions Richard Fields contributes to include The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, The University of Rochester Medical Center, Good Shepherd Services, the New York Police Foundation, Farm Aid, and the American Quarter Horse Foundation.
